The first thing you notice about a Dark Artefacts artefact is that the packaging is second to none. The Dark Glass comes in a splendid black box containing all the bits and pieces you need to perform with and includes some spare belts for the drive mechanism. Rather than the usual link to a YouTube tutorial the dark Glass comes with a lovely and well produced full colour instruction manual which includes the backstory and some ideas for performance. Following the manual, the Dark Glass is incredibly easy to set up and you should be up and running in a couple of minutes. The Dark Glass itself is beautifully made and looks every bit like something you’d find at the back of a dusty roll top bureau, it looks and feels totally authentic being expertly aged. In use it could be simpler, the Dark Glass comes with a standard 4 button remote which has been adapted with an additional magnetic switch. I use a SansMinds Silent Assistant rather than a PK ring and the magnetic switch worked perfectly with it, I am fitting my stage shoes with magnetic segs to see how that works out but I think it’ll be fine. The Dark Glass is easy to use and with a couple of hours practise you should be able to spell out recognisable words as part of a wonderful act. Nick has mentioned that you can hear the mechanism but any general audience hum along with your own patter will be more than enough to hide it. In conclusion, The Dark Glass is a triumph, it opens up so many possible performances and is a delight to use. Well done, dark Artefacts.

I received my Satans Circus kit and must say that I am beyond happy with the props provided. The look and feel of everything you receive is nothing short of outstanding – you can get creative and tweak the routine to your liking with these props and create a truly wonderful bizarre magic and storytelling experience. I actually hope this piece along with Whiteface goes out of production so no one else will be using them, as I will certainly be getting a lot of mileage out of these amazing props. Dark Artifacts truly does not disappoint

The object is intriguing and can only arouse curiosity. It doesn’t look like it’s authentic, it is authentic. Everything is perfect, from the idea to the design and has been carefully thought out. The drawer that opens on command is the icing on the cake for me. 'The Gift' is a marvel and I am happy to have it in my possession.

The Uninvited is fantastic! The solid oak box is beautifully constructed and aged…the craftsmanship is spectacular! The hand is very creepy…especially as it moves with a rapping sound. The candle looks especially spooky in the dark, when lit, as it suddenly jumps and moves on the box! I am working on a spooky routine and am very excited about the possibilities with “The Uninvited” Excellent work Nick!
