The Strangeways Expansion pack has been designed and produced specifically for use with Strangeways – Diary of an Executioner.

It provides you, the performer, with a set of authentic looking artefacts, owned and used by Thomas Rycroft. These are items he kept together with his precious diary in a small wooden box in an office desk drawer. Each artefact tells a story and links to an additional bonus effect that can be performed in conjunction with the diary.

The expansion pack includes the following:

• A beautifully aged wooden box with felt lining and sliding lid to hold the diary and other artefacts
• Authentic ‘Dean’ tape measure for ensuring the accuracy of the drop
• Authentic Godfrey Phillips tobacco tin, containing a memento of the final execution performed by Thomas Rycroft
• Cotton hood – which may have been used in several executions
• Home Office memorandum sheet

The five additional effects are:

• The Measure Knows the Man – a reveal using the tape measure
• One Name Too Many – this uses the Home Office memorandum sheet
• The Last Breath – uses the cotton hood
• The Memento – this links to the Home Office memorandum sheet and the unrecorded execution.
• Time of Death – this utilises a prediction watch (not supplied)

The expansion pack can just be used as a display piece if desired or a place to keep the diary. The choice is yours.
